ONCE A SOLDIER’S ONLINE AUCTION AND GALA
Support Our Veteran Families
Great Odds to Win Great Prizes
You Win! They Win!
Proceeds Benefit Veteran Families
Like we always do, proceeds will go towards helping their surviving family members. Over 95% of our total income goes directly to them. Instead of a live auction that most in-person galas will have, we offer a small number of tickets to win great items in this virtual gala for charity.
helping them feel the love
This is different than an online auction you may see at virtual galas or even a silent auction at a gala. For a low ticket price, you’ll get good odds to win. We limit the number of tickets for sale so that you have fun and we can repay the funeral costs of our Veteran families of Veteran suicide. While we wish we could give more to more families, our financial help pales in comparison to the emotional support we give.
HOW it workS
Each item has a limited number of tickets for sale at a low price. For example, a John Deere tractor we have has 110 tickets selling for only $20. Those are great winning odds. You simple pick a number between 1 and 110 and wait for all the other tickets to be sold. Once that happens, you pay the cost of the ticket(s) and we spin the virtual wheel to pick a number live on Facebook. Need not be present to win. See the rules here.
WHY WE FIGHT FOR OUR VETERAN FAMILIES
I would like to thank you for all that you do. I am truly thankful for your dedication to knowing the problem and trying to make others aware of the tragedy soldiers & their families endure. It has really, really been a hard road. I wish every day that Cedrick was here and I was the one God called. So sad.
This is a great resource for families that are faced with the hardships that come with veteran soldier suicide.
ABOUT ONCE A SOLDIER
Our mission is to heal the financial and emotional scars left behind after a Veteran suicide. 97% of the donations we receive go towards repaying the funeral bills piled up by Veteran families who have lost their loved one to a Veteran suicide.
Most of these suicides are directly related to PTSD acquired during the deployment.
